Is it bad to wear a strapless dress at prom without a necklace, just earrings?
The color i need in a necklace is no where to be found. My friend is letting me borrow the earrings. Will it look too horrible? My dress is about an inch longer than my knee if that makes any difference.
No, that's not a bad thing at all. My dresses were a bit more elaborate at the top, but I'd still not wear a necklace at times, or just a really simple gold chain. My prom dress is strapless, and while it has a little rhinestone area around the bust, I'm not wearing any necklace with it. So it would be completely fine. My only suggestion is that your earrings be at least partially long or you have part of your hair on your shoulders if you are worried about the necklace at all.
